Appreciate if you could kindly advise the amended schedule and details for the Spiderider Contest Stages since there are now some new developments (extended voting period for Stage 4, new Live Performance, etc).

And just wanted to confirm that all 3 finalists will be performing at the Finals on 27th July (i.e. contrary to the previous competition schedule, there will be no further elimination) and all 3 finalists will survive until the Final Showdown). And will the winner be based on the voting results alone only or will the final result include the judges' decisions on that night's performance too ? Thanks in advance.
Stage 1
During this final, all 3 contestants will first perform their 1st prepared song respectively. Results (from public voting) will then be announced to eliminate 1. The eliminated contestant will then perform his/her 2nd prepared number.
Stage 2
The Top 2 will then perform their 2nd number and try to impress the judges for the ultimate SpideRider crown.
As to your query on the final judgment, the panel are still in discussion if the final results will be based on purely judges' decision or partial votes, partial judges' decision.

Thanks very much for your reply. I've been asked if we have to purchase tickets for the Final Showdown and if so, how much do they cost and where can they be purchased from ? (and are there different prices for kids (what age group) and adults ?). Many thanks !
The Final Showdown is not a ticketed event. Guests attending the event are firstly our sponsors, partners, etc. and these guests will be attending the event strictly by invitation only. Once the priority list is filled, we can then open up the seats to the supporters and fans. Watch out for that announcement.
We look forward to an even bigger event next year when we run SpideRider 2. Hopefully then, we can look at a bigger venue that can take a in even more fans and supporters like yourself.

Here is the latest updated schedule for the Final.
Final to be held on the 27 July 2010, Tuesday. Venue is The Black Box, The Drama Centre.

To pump up the excitment leading up to the big day, we will organise 2 rounds of voting for the Top 3 contestants.
The voting periods will be:
Now till 11 July midnight - 1st clip voting
12 - 15 July - submission of 2nd clip for voting
16 - 25 July midnight - 2nd clip voting
* * * * *
The votes canvassed for both clips will be accumulated into a grand total for the 3 contestants, which the results will be announced during the Final.

Stage 1
