Enjoying true Italian hospitality with good wine, cheese and food is now a reality, with the launch of incontro wine bar and ristorante.

“incontro” which means “to gather” in Italian, is the brainchild of Amy Oh, former sommelier and a veteran in the wine trade. It was her combined experience of working with restaurants, hotels as well as guests directly that inspired her to create a wine bar where customers can buy wines and enjoy them at the premises – by paying only retail prices.

“In my years of experience, I realised that there was an interest in wines, but many were intimidated, With incontro, we aim to make wines easy to enjoy. With friendly prices, they are encouraged to try more wines and learn, “ she said.

The wine bar is a blend of New World & Old World design. Modelled after a traditional underground wine cellar in Europe, it boasts inspiried touches as as customised bar counters and coffee tables made from recycled wooden wine cases. Bathed in Mediterranean hues, it boasts contemporary furniture pieces that have been picked for their absolute comfort.
